"A behind-the-scenes human view of the inner workings of global power. With unique access to high-ranking candidate Helen Clark, award-winning filmmaker Gaylene Preston casts a wry eye on proceedings as the United Nations chooses a new Secretary General. Her cameras explore the cracks between the diplomats, the embedded press and feminist activists as they push for change while caught up in a power process as secretive and patriarchal as the selection of the Pope. An observational documentary, My Year With Helen travels alongside Clark as she works on global development issues as head of the UNDP while also campaigning for SG and staying in daily contact with her 94-year-old father back in New Zealand. "

Jon, a charming but out-of-luck novelist, musters the bravery needed to try and win back the love of his life by surprising her at a friend’s wedding. One problem: he's in Auckland and the wedding is in Wellington. After a failed attempt to make the journey south in his bomby Holden, Jon hitches a ride with Luke, a sparky young dude driving a fancy new (and unbeknown to Jon, stolen) yellow Mini Cooper….thus beginning the most epic road trip of their lives.

Boy is a dreamer who loves Michael Jackson. He lives with his brother Rocky, a tribe of deserted cousins and his Nan. Boy’s other hero, his father Alamein, is the subject of Boy’s fantasies, and he imagines him as a deep sea diver, war hero and a close relation of Michael Jackson. In reality Alamein is an inept, wannabe gangster who has been in jail for robbery. When Alamein returns home after seven years away, Boy is forced to confront the man he thought he remembered, find his own potential and learn to get along without the hero he had been hoping for.
Boy เป็นเรื่องราวของเด็กชายชื่อ Boy ที่ฝันอยากจะเป็นนักร้องชื่อดังเหมือนไมเคิล แจ็คสัน ราชาเพลงป๊อป เขาอาศัยอยู่กับพี่ชายชื่อร็อคกี้ และญาติ เขาจินตนาการว่าพ่อของเขาชื่อ Alamein เป็นดำน้ำทะเลลึก เป็นฮีโร่จากสงคราม และรู้จักใกล้ชิดกับไมเคิล แจ็คสัน แต่ในความเป็นจริงแล้ว Alamein เป็นคนที่ไม่มีอาชีพเป็นหลักแหล่ง อีกทั้งยังอยู่ในแก๊งค์อันธพาล ติดคุกเพราะขโมยของ หลังจากที่ Alamein กลับมาที่บ้านหลังจากหายไป 7 ปี Boy จึงต้องเผชิญกับความเป็นจริงที่ว่าพ่อของเขาไม่ได้เป็นฮีโร่อย่างที่เขาคิดไว้ และต้องหาวิธีอยู่ร่วมกับพ่อของเขาให้ได้
